How to Connect to QuickBooks Online

 

Connecting Roof Chief to QuickBooks Online streamlines your financial workflow by integrating your project data with your accounting system.

Accessing QuickBooks Settings
  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click Account (at the top)
  3. Select QuickBooks
Enabling QuickBooks Integration

On the QuickBooks connection page:

  1. Find "Enable QuickBooks" setting
  2. Flip the switch from "Off" to "On"
  3. Check the connection status - it will show "Disconnected" until you complete the setup
Connecting Your Account

Once QuickBooks is enabled:

  1. Click "Connect to QuickBooks" button (now visible)
  2. A popup window appears for authentication
  3. Enter your QuickBooks email and password
  4. Click "Sign In" to authenticate
Verifying the Connection

After successful authentication:

  • Connection status changes from gray "Disconnected" to green "Connected"
  • Your integration is active and ready for data sync
