How to Delete Items from Your Product Catalog
Removing unused products and folders from your catalog keeps it focused on the materials and services you actually provide, making estimating more efficient.
Accessing Product Catalog Settings
- Go to Settings
- Click Products
- Select Product Catalog
Deleting Individual Products
- Navigate to the item you want to remove
- Click on the product to select it (checkmark appears)
- Click the red trash can button (hover text shows "Delete Checked Items")
- Confirm deletion in the popup window that lists the products to be deleted
- Click "OK" to complete the removal
Deleting Entire Folders
When you no longer need a whole category of products:
- Click on the folder name you want to remove
- A popup window appears with folder options
- Click the red "Delete" button in the window
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
- Click "OK" to remove the folder and all its contents
Confirmation Process
Both individual products and entire folders require confirmation before deletion:
- Review the deletion list to ensure you're removing the correct items
- Confirm your choice to prevent accidental deletions
- The system removes items permanently once confirmed
