How to Order Materials for Sold Projects

 

Once you have a sold estimate, you can easily order all the materials needed for the project through the production area.

Accessing Material Ordering
  1. Go to your job page
  2. Click the Production button (only available for sold projects)
  3. Navigate past the dates and crew panel to the materials section
Viewing Calculated Materials

The software automatically calculates all materials needed for the job based on your estimate. You'll see a complete list of required products with quantities.

Assigning Materials to Suppliers

You can organize your material orders by supplier:

  1. Select all materials or choose specific items
  2. Drag them to the appropriate supplier (like ABC Supply)
  3. Repeat for different suppliers as needed
Managing Existing Inventory

If you have materials from previous jobs:

  1. Adjust quantities based on what you already have (for example, if you have one box of nails in your warehouse but need two boxes total)
  2. Order only what you need (one additional box in this example)
  3. Drag existing inventory from unallocated to your warehouse designation
Communicating Orders

Once your materials are organized:

  • Print the complete list for your field crew so they know what products to expect and from which suppliers
  • Email each supplier with their specific order
  • Print individual orders for suppliers who prefer paper orders
