How to Search

 

The search function at the top of any Roof Chief page provides a quick way to find any project, contact, or estimate using different types of information.

Accessing Search

Look for the search box at the top of the contacts area in Roof Chief.

What You Can Search For

The search function works with multiple types of information: Contact Names:

  • First name
  • Last name Property Information:
  • Street name (useful when you remember the job location but not the customer name) Estimate Numbers:
  • Specific estimate numbers (like "2210" to find Sue Franklin's estimate)
How Search Works

Simply type any of these pieces of information into the search box, and Roof Chief will find matching contacts, projects, and estimates. This makes it easy to locate specific information quickly, regardless of what detail you remember about the customer or job.
