How to Set Up Your Product Catalog

 

The Product Catalog is where you store all your products and labor items for estimating. Having everything organized here makes creating estimates much easier.

Finding the Product Catalog
  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click on Products
  3. Select Product Catalog
How Products Are Organized

Your products are grouped into folders to help you stay organized. You might see folders like gutter products, CertainTeed products, shingles, and underlayment. The folders aren't required - you could put everything in one big folder if you prefer. You can also create subfolders within main folders for better organization.

Adding New Products

To add a new product:

  1. Click on the folder where you want to add the product
  2. Click New Product (at the top, on the right)
  3. Enter your product details
  4. Click Save
Setting Up Product Details

Each product can be customized with pricing, coverage, and other settings. Click on any product to edit details like:

  • Price per unit (like price per roll)
  • Coverage area and measurements
  • Whether to factor in waste
  • Material only vs. labor included

Start with your most common products first, then add others as you need them.
