How to Track Jobs in the Pipeline

The pipeline feature (currently in Beta) helps you track jobs and their progress through different stages using a visual card-based system.

Accessing the Pipeline

Click on Pipeline in the navigation menu to view your jobs organized by status or stage.

Pipeline Overview

The pipeline displays:

  • Job cards organized in columns by status
  • Total number of jobs in the current view
  • Total value of all jobs being tracked
  • Date range filter on the right side
Filtering by Time Period

You can adjust the time period to focus on specific activities:

  • Last year - shows all activity (default view)
  • This week - current week's activity
  • Last 30 days - recent month's activity This helps you see job progress within relevant timeframes.
Moving Jobs Through Stages

You can update job status by dragging cards between columns:

  • Drag a job card from one column to another
  • Track progress as jobs move from estimating to inspection to production
  • Column headers show how many jobs are in each stage
Pipeline Types

Roof Chief offers different pipeline views for different purposes: Sales Pipeline - track leads, estimates, and sales progress Production Pipeline - monitor jobs that need field work completion Switch between pipeline types to focus on specific aspects of your business.
