Setup: Company Information
Company Information is where you enter your company’s name, contact details, license number, address and time zone. Exterio shows this information to your customers on proposals and in customer communications, so it needs to be right before your team sends anything out.
Before you start
- Only Admins can open this page. Users without Admin access don’t see Account Settings in the settings menu.
- Changes affect your whole company.
How do I open Company Information in Exterio?
Go to Settings > Account Settings > Company Info.
What does each field on the Company Information page do?

Tips and gotchas
-
Set the time zone before anyone schedules anything. Exterio shows times in the company time zone. If the time zone is wrong, appointment times are off for everyone.
-
Choose the address from the suggestions. Typing the address and clicking away doesn’t set your business location. Pick the matching suggestion from the list so Exterio knows where you are and shows nearby addresses first when your team searches.
-
Use a company phone number and email address, not one person’s. These show up on every proposal. If they belong to one rep, calls and emails go to that person, including after they leave. Use your main office line and a shared inbox.
-
Update your license number the day it changes. It’s printed on proposals, so an expired number goes out on every proposal until someone fixes it. If your state requires your license number on contracts, this field is where it comes from.
