📸 Rapid Photo Capture, Rebuilt

The 10-photo limit is gone. So is the lag.

Photo documentation was the most-requested fix we had, and we rebuilt it from the ground up in the mobile app.

Open the camera and shoot. No waiting between shots, no stopping to save, no counting to ten on uploads. Capture an entire roof, an entire elevation, an entire job — then decide which photos need markup and edit those as needed. Uploads run in the background with proper queuing, so a weak signal in a back yard doesn't cost you the batch.

• Toggle package tiers on or off per proposal — Your internal tagging of  Good/Better/Best can be omitted from a proposal when appropriate

• Smartfields can now be inserted into automated task names and descriptions

Tasks

• Set tasks with exact due dates and times
• Task list rows link straight to the Project or Contact, matching the Dashboard
• Tasks created by Campaigns are labeled appropriately, the same way workflow tasks are
• Task notifications open the Project or Contact instead of the edit screen

Calendar

• New sync settings — choose whether events you're assigned to sync to Outlook or Google alongside events you created
• The calendar grid defaults to core business hours, with scheduling outside them now available!
• Calendar sync now carries full event detail

Projects

• Fully customizable project creation modal/form — choose which fields appear (system and custom fields) and which are required or optional
• Project # is available as a naming convention option and as a smart field
• Project tags now work as filters across the project board and reporting

Material & work orders

• Delete or update an existing material order
• Record an actual delivery date on material orders to help track warranty information

Behind the Scenes

• QuickBooks — customer email and phone now carry over to the sub customer (project) in QuickBooks
• Customer Portal — now enabled automatically on contacts and projects, so automated campaigns can share the portal link
• Contacts — add multiple phone numbers during contact creation
• Contacts — override Google address validation and save any address, however rural
  
  

You Asked. We Fixed.

The unglamorous list. All of these came from customer reports.

• Notifications no longer fire at 2 AM. Overdue tasks and event reminders now send at 8 AM.
• Editing a calendar appointment keeps the booked time. Previously the scheduled time reset on edit, which could create conflicts.
• Every project photo is available to attach to an email, and the attach view now displays them clearly instead of stacking them.
• Deposit invoices flip to Overdue like every other invoice created.
• Proposal view tracking is accurate. Proposals no longer show as "Viewed" before the customer has opened them.
• Email attachments save to communication history — inbound attachments are stored, and attachments open directly from a contact's history.
• Change order PDFs attach to approval emails.
• Signed work orders download as a PDF.
• Editing a draft invoice no longer creates a duplicate.
• Sales-only users can invite team members to calendar events.
• Work order requested dates display correctly — smartfields no longer show the date a day early based on time zone preferences.
• Material order line names stay locked to the estimate, even if the product name changes in your catalog afterward.
• GAF measurement reports import without a property type mismatch error for commercial properties
• Duplicated packages keep their work type instead of defaulting to Roofing.
• Package tiers hold their settings in proposals built from multi-estimate creation.

🚀 New Features & Major Enhancements

QuickBooks Online: Smarter Sync, Cost Tracking & Live Project Status

Significant updates to the QuickBooks Online integration to give you more control, better visibility, and more complete project financial tracking.

• Four new sync groups — Contacts & Projects, Revenue, Costs, and End-of-Project — each with the ability to switch between Manual and Automatic syncing.
• Project expenses now sync to QuickBooks, including material orders, labor, and standalone costs, with per-category control over how they appear in your books.
• New QuickBooks Online badge on every project header so you can see live sync status at a glance.
• One-click actions to sync a project now or jump directly into QuickBooks.
• Per-project sync activity feed, giving you a full history of everything synced to QuickBooks with statuses, timestamps, and one-click retry on failures
• End-of-Project closeout sync, which automatically runs a full project sweep when a job is completed so every invoice, payment, and cost is tied out.

Financial Management & Payments

• Enabled partial payments through the digital payment portal, making it easier to collect deposits, progress payments, and final balances throughout the lifecycle of a project.
